Are you a Certified Roundup Applicator? If so, The Bruce Company would welcome an opportunity to discuss the possibility of joining our team. The Bruce Company continually recruits talented individuals with a category #3 Pesticide Applicators certification to work in our Landscape Maintenance department.
Required Experience:
Applicants should have prior pesticide application experience or be willing to acquire Turf and Ornamental certification within 30-60 days of hire.
Candidates must also have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record; ability to work full-time hours per week in varying weather conditions; and available for snow removal during the winter months. 1-2 years of field experience and knowledge of landscape maintenance and pesticide chemicals preferred but willing to train the right person.

This position reports to and supports the Landscape Construction Sales Manager.

Qualified candidates must have some familiarity with the landscape design and construction process as well as having strong computer skills with a background in Windows Operating Systems, AutoCAD, Eagle Point, Sketch-up and/or other graphics software. Minimum qualifications include: a 2 or 4 year Landscape Architecture degree; 2 years of working experience in Landscape Architecture/CAD; ability to present and sell oneself and maintain rapport with clients; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; excellent prioritization skills; and have a valid driver’s license in good standing with a good driving record.
