A Story That Began Centuries Ago
In the heart of Bavaria, Germany, the art of glassmaking has been passed down through generations of the Müller-Blech family, whose connection to the craft dates back more than 400 years. Today, that heritage lives on in the Inge Glas workshop, where traditional techniques meet fresh ideas to create distinctive Christmas ornaments.
Made by Hand. Made to Be Remembered.
Every Inge Glas ornament begins with molten glass, carefully shaped by skilled artisans. The glass is mouth-blown, silvered from the inside to give it beautiful depth and brilliance, then hand-painted and decorated with remarkable attention to detail. Some designs pass through as many as 60 individual steps before they’re complete. No two handmade ornaments are exactly alike. Tiny variations in shape and decoration give each piece its own character — a little reminder of the hands and artistry behind it.
